Available Positions

Accounting Manager

We are looking to fill an Accounting Manager opening to our professional team in Fremont, MI.  This salaried exempt position will be responsible for the management of accounting staff, various accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ACH processing and general ledger postings and reconciliations. As well as assisting the Chief Financial Officer in the preparation of Financial reports, overseeing preparation of regulatory and governmental reporting, maintaining the credit union’s fixed asset portfolio, and preparation of depreciation schedules.

Candidates who are looking for a professional work environment, appreciate work with a high level of accountability, are able to achieve goals consistently and efficiently, and be precise in their quality of work and have the additional skills/background below, should apply.

  • Associates Degree in accounting or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Technical knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures and financial reports with an understanding of related regulations, statues and filing requirements.
  • Five or more years of accounting and related supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Aptitude for detail work
  • High degree of analytical ability
