Definitions


Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • Gerber Federal Credit Union has no affiliates.

Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • Nonaffiliates we share with can include credit bureaus, mortgage companies, insurance companies, financial institutions, third party service providers, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, etc.

Joint marketing
A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include credit card companies and indirect dealers.

Location Information: If you use our mobile banking application on your mobile device, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use this opt-in data to provide relevant messaging, even when the app is not open on your screen, to tailor our products and services for you, and to occasionally offer you promotions of interest.
