PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATION CONSENT

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act generally requires businesses to obtain express consent before contacting members or customers on their mobile phones. To ensure that you don’t miss any important communications, including possible fraud or suspicious activity on your account, we are requesting your permission to contact you on your mobile phone. By acknowledging and signing this consent form, you are:

  • Granting permission to Gerber Federal Credit Union (Gerber FCU) and any related affiliates or third parties to contact you on the mobile phone number(s) listed below. You may choose to grant permission to contact you via phone call and text message, or phone call only (no texts). Consent is not required; you may opt-out of contacts to your cell phone number. Additionally, you retain the right to revoke permission at any time by any reasonable means.
  • Granting permission to Gerber FCU and related affiliates or third parties to contact your cell phone for any reason, including for marketing purposes to offer you products or services that may serve your financial needs. Some examples of reasons we may contact you include: suspected fraud or suspicious activity, data security breaches, suspected identity theft, communications about existing accounts and loans, money transfers, notification of late payments, and/or collection efforts, as well as information about new or existing products, services, promotions, or special offers that may benefit you. Our contacts may be made as a direct dial or through the use of text messages, pre-recorded or artificial voice messages, and or the use of an “automated telephone dialing system” or “autodialer”.
  • Representing that you are the wireless subscriber or customary user with respect to the wireless number(s) provided and that you have the authority to provide consent. Please note that depending on your mobile service plan, message and date rates may be addressed by your mobile provider.
