Before filing your Income Tax return, please verify your account information for direct deposit with your tax preparer. If you prepare your own tax return, double check your account number and account type (savings or checking) before you submit.  If you are unsure, please contact us for confirmation.  Incorrect information will cause a delay! 

Important details to keep in mind:

• The Gerber FCU routing number is 272480199. 
• For savings account deposits, use your 7 digit member number & check the appropriate box to indicate ‘Savings’.  If your member number is not 7 digits, add zeros to the beginning. 
• For checking account deposits please use the middle set of 8 numbers from the bottom of your check including any zeros.
• The IRS cautions “Your refund should only be deposited directly into accounts that are in your own name; your spouse’s name or both if it’s a joint account.”  We will not accept direct deposit of tax refunds for persons who are not owners or joint owners of an account.
• NEVER give out your account information to receive a tax refund on behalf of someone that you do not know or with the promise of keeping part of the refund for yourself.  THIS IS ALWAYS A SCAM and you could face penalties for your participation.

REMINDER: If you receive electronic statements, your tax statements WILL NOT be delivered to you by mail. Log in to Web or Mobile Teller and click 'e-Statements' and then 'Tax Statements' to view your forms.
